UNC 87 — Rutgers 48

I got to make an impromptu trip to Chapel Hill this evening to catch my second UNC basketball game of the year.
In spite of what I thought was a rocky start, where it seemed several players had too much Christmas turkey and eggnog over the weekend, they handily defeated Rutgers and improved their record to 11-1.
Brandan Wright lead the team with 19 points. Wayne Ellington lit it up from the 3 point line, adding 17 points. Tyler Hansbrough scored 13. In all, 11 Tarheel players scored tonight.
