States Covered Thus Far

Next up in this series is Idaho, “The Gem State”.     The other posts in this category can be read here.

This will be a short list.     Only two lodges in this state used the state in their patch designs.     None of them are shaped like the state.

Ma I Shu 363 P4

Ma I Shu 363 P4

First up is Ma-I-Shu 363.     This lodge issued a colorful neckerchief patch,   listed as P4 and pictured on the right,   in recognition of those Scouts who are a “Year Round Camper”.     A very simple outline of this state was also used on the lodge’s S11, issued for Idaho’s statehood centennial and the OA’s 75th anniversary.

Navando Ikeu 407 also used the shape of Idaho on one of their flaps.     This lodge’s   S27, like the 363 S11 mentioned above, was also issued for both Idaho’s statehood centennial and the OA’s 75th anniversary.

Please let me know if there are any other issues that should be on this list, especially if they are truly shaped like this state.
