1956 Area VI-E Conference Patch
The 1956 Area VI-E Conference was held at Camp Owen J. Brorein. Seminole 85 served as the host lodge. The only item of memorabilia I know of from this conclave is the pocket patch pictured here.

Those not familiar with this camp might be confused by how the name appears to be shown on the patch, “Owenbrorein”. I didn’t know myself where this camp was. In searching, I found several patch sellers who were using the wrong name, rendering as a single word.
According to the Region 6 OA Section List on Rob Higgins’ OA Sections website, and from the patch design, the following lodges were in this section in 1956:
- Seminole 85
- Echockotee 200
- Aal-Pa-Tah 237
- Tipisa 326
- Timuquan 340
This section would remain unchanged for the next few years.
