Wulapeju 140 S53?

Previously I wrote about a CSP issued by Eswau Huppeday 560 and a flap from Catawba 459 that were specifically designed to match the new BSA “Centennial uniform“.     It had been wondered if other lodges would issue similar patches.   Now I get word of two issues from Wulapeju lodge with a similar color scheme, apparently designed to match or blend with the new uniform.   Thanks to Bruce Shelley for supplying me this images.

The flap, pictured on the left, uses a symbol similar to that found on the Blackhawk Area Council T-1.       This is a stylized profile of Chief Blackhawk.   I have listed this on the site as the lodge’s “S53?”.

There is also a CSP shaped patch, which I have listed as “X29?“.     This patch also uses a similar design.     In addition to the lodge’s and council’s name the patch bears the name of the council’s two primary camps:   Lowden and Canyon.

Does anyone know if these patches were specifically designed with the new uniform in mind?     Have any other councils or lodges issued patches with a similar color scheme, or specifically designed for the Centennial uniform?

Yes, they were designed with the new uniform in mind. There is a lodge flap and CSP, and now we have a dangle patch that our lodge is selling as a fundraiser for NOAC.
