New Achpateuny Jacket Patch on eBay
While reviewing eBay data for this site’s price guide, I saw an interesting item worth sharing here. It is a jacket patch for the “East Wind Dancers” from Achpateuny lodge 498, not yet listed in Blue Book. Most likely this piece was issued within the past few years. It was listed on eBay as item number 350154677029. As such listings become unavailable for viewing over time, a partial screencap of the auction is show at the head of this post. Dance team items are hotly sought after by some collectors. Also, many items from lodge 498 (in any of its three names) are rare and difficult to acquire. Even though this is a new piece, it is obvious at least two collectors believe it to be rare and valuable as it sold for the “Buy it now” price of $1,000.
The seller identifies himself in the auction as Dan Graham. I know the name as he has contributed images to this site, but do not know the seller personally. I do not know anything else about this item.
