Earlier today I was was glancing at the directory on my computer at home that is full of images that have not yet made it onto the site for one reason or another. Among these images I found this interesting neckerchief slide from Unaliyi chapter of Tali Taktaki 70 that I had first saved in January 2008. I do not remember who sent this scan to me but know this is not in my collection.
Neckerchief slides are generally not listed in Blue Book and on this site, except for some leather items that have historically been considered “patches”. I have pictured some items like this on the site but have not been either systematic or thorough about it. So, I am not surprised I sat on this image for a long time.
Unaliyi chapter issued a significant number of items from the mid-70s through the late-80s. At least three different neckerchiefs are known. Tali Taktaki lodge also had several different neckerchiefs around this same time period. So, this slide could have been intended to have been used with any number of items.
At this time, I do not know of any other neckerchief slides issued by Tali Taktaki lodge or any of its chapters.

I designed this neckerchief slide when Unaliyi chapter advisor in the 70′s. We ordered only 25 and didn’t reorder. [I designed the Tali S1a, and the Unaliyi keystone patch and J, the Uwharrie Trail A's, Recruiter Camper, Tali's 73 - 76 fellowship patches and neckerchiefs, the 1958 6-A Conclave, 58 NOAC neckerchief and 75 NOAC neckerchiefs (several variations).]
