Tsali 134 issued three patches in conjunction with last month’s Dixie Fellowship.     Thanks to both Hank Birdsong and Greg Grimes for sending me scans of these pieces.

The first two Dixie issues were flaps.   Tsali joins the short, but growing, list of lodges who have patterned patches after US currency.     The “S64?”, pictured, with a dark green inner border was a trader issue.         A second flap, “S65?”, had a gold mylar inner border and was their “delegate flap”.

The third issue was a round dangle designed like a poker chip.     The writing in the middle of the poker chip is the Cherokee characters for the lodge’s name, Tsali, and has appeared on many of the lodge’s patches through the years.

The listing data for these issues are as follows:

Issue Bdr Color/Type Bkgd Name fdl/BSA Comments
S64? GRN R MAN MAN BLK BLK fdl outlined in MAN; DGR inner border, 2009 Dixie Fellowship
S64? GRN R MAN MAN BLK BLK fdl outlined in MAN; GMY inner border, 2009 Dixie Fellowship
R3? RED R WHT BLK WHT fdl; poker chip, lodge name written in Cherokee
