Lodge 270: York Chapter Election Team Patch

Skyuka 270 York Chapter X10?
Brad Hutto sends word of another patch from Skyuka lodge’s York Chapter. This patch was issued to the chapter’s unit election teams. It’s similar to the chapter’s X8 and X9 except the fleur d’lis is red.
I am of mixed emotions about pieces like this. I can understand this could be considered an award, earned by those who have completed specific requirements. It may even be effective at getting youth to serve on unit election teams which is a laudable goal. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of restricted patches in the OA. Rick Obermeyer sums up the objections well.
