Lodge 104: New Standard Flaps

A while back, before I started having all the recent troubles with the site, Greg Grimes sent me images of three new standard flaps Occoneechee lodge issued earlier this Fall. They are rather “retro” in design for this lodge, featuring the designs and color schemes the lodge previously used on their Ordeal, Brotherhood and Vigil flaps. They were also rendered in “Swiss” style embroidery, not the “computer designed” (CD) style commonly used on patches today.
These were created in an attempt to emulate the style and feel of the older Swiss issues from this lodge. From what I’ve seen they did a reasonably good job at that. These are quite a change from the style of the more recent CD OBV flaps.

It should be noted that separate “OBV flaps” are now prohibited by National policy. As such, the lodge makes it known that these are not Ordeal, Brotherhoood, and Vigil flaps but rather three flaps available for sale to any OA member.
