Lodge of the Western Region Chief Patches: Update

Back in 2007 I wrote several posts highlighting the patches issued by the various lodges over the years for the national and regional officers of the Order of the Arrow.   The first of these posts covered patches issued for the Lodge of the National Chief.   I also published an update for the 2008 National Officer patches.    Over the past week I have also added updates for the recent national and regional officers.  Here is the last installment for the recent Western Region Chiefs.

David Herrell of Kola Lodge was elected the Western Region Chief for 2009.  Kola lodge issued three flaps in honor of this Region Chief with GMY, SMY and bronze mylar borders.   The GMY and SMY bordered flaps are on the site, but I still need an image of the third bronze mylar bordered flap

The 2010 Western Region Chief was Fred Gross of Yah-Tah-Hey-Si-Kess Lodge.  His lodge issued three flaps for his tenure.   A red mylar bordered flap was hand out flap.   A SMY (listed as S85?) bordered version was sold to the lodge membership.   There was also a “special handout” GMY bordered version (image needed).

Joseph Garcia of Tiwahe Lodge was the 2011 Western Region Chief.   I am told three flaps were issued by his lodge (GMY, SMY, and BLK mylar borders) for him.
